    Justin Cole's Pic: This is a really fun video not only showing classic dance moves,  from each decade up until now but the style one of them had as well. You will recognize classic dance video moves and movie moments. I must also add...it's some pretty impressive video editing. Collectively, we've probably all done a dance to each of these songs over the years. Our dancers are even dancing to some of them now.

    Teacher Bela said she loves anything from Cirque du Soleil. Their athleticism, flexibility, grace and trust in one another is remarkable. You could get lost for hours watching their videos.

    Diavolo: Danger & Acrobatic Group DEFY Human Nature 

    Justin Cole loves Diavolo ever since he saw them on America's Got Talent. He was so excited to find out one of his former Hip Hop Students, Simon Greenberg, auditioned and is now part of the company. You can find several more amazing videos showing off their acrobatic and dance skills. 

    Mark Morris Dance Group: “Eleven” from “Mozart Dances”

    Mark William Morris is anAmerican dancerchoreographer and director whose work is acclaimed for its craftsmanship, ingenuity, humor, and at times eclectic musical accompaniments. Morris is popular among dance aficionados, the music world, as well as mainstream audiences.  Two of the men featured in the above video were in Justin Cole's first ever Hip Hop class in1999!

    There are many “right” ways to teach the same steps. These videos may use the same name for something that you’ve learned a different way. Enjoy exploring!

    “Dance Moves for Beginners” – Howcast on YouTube

    Their Description: Learn jazz dance moves and dance routines from popular movies and Broadway shows from choreographer Liz Piccoli in these Howcast dance videos.

    JiM’s Description: Steps covered range from a simple passe to a far more advance calypso jump and axel turn. We like this series for its clear explanations and short videos. A drop down menu in the upper left corner lets you pick a video title in the series.

    Alphabetical Jazz Steps 2 (bigger and longer)

    Their Description: Vocabulary of 84 American vernacular jazz solo movements.

    JiM’s Description: Watch 3 dancers (facing front, back and side) perform 84 steps from jazz/theater/Lindy/blues in quick succession!! A caller gives the name of each step and the name appears in print on the screen.

    Wikipedia’s “Glossary of Ballet”

    JiM’s Description: An alphabetical listing of ballet terms. Entries vary in quality, some containing photos, drawings or videos, and some not.

    Operation: Tap – YouTube Channel

    Their Description: An open forum for dancers and artists who want to see tap become immersed in the public’s consciousness.

    JiM’s Description: Operation: Tap is a community on Facebook (link to their fb page), with videos hosted by YouTube. Their short and sweet videos are a good place for advanced tap exercises.
