    Welcome to our 1st Summer Session after a Pandemic! We are continuing OUTDOOR Classes as well as moving to some INDOOR Classes & Camps. Please review ALL Protocols at the end of this page.

    Be aware that before registering for this SUMMER you will need to acknowledge that you have read ALL New Legal Agreements in the Parent Portal.
     
    ***We suggest you LOGIN and take care of that before Registration opens. 
     

    We are implementing a tighter withdrawal policy for Summer Session 2021 as space is limited and most classes or camps are during the course of one week only:

    • All Summer Session Registrations are due in 1 Full Payment. 
    • We will NOT prorate for missed classes in the Summer.
    • There are NO make-ups allowed in the Summer.
    • There will be NO refunds on payments that have been made.
    • If you drop for any reason after registering and before 7 days prior to the start date of your class or camp, 60% of your 2021 Summer Tuition for classes or camps is non-transferable to JiM credit for future sessions. 100% of your 2021 Summer Tuition for classes or camps is non-transferable to JiM credit if you drop for any reason within 7 days of the start date of your class or camp. 
    • Dancers may enroll in more than one week of a specific Class ONLY.
    • Dancers may ONLY sign up for ONE (1) SPIRIT WEEK DANCE CAMP in the SUMMER unless enrollment is low and we notify the public there is still availability.
    • PROTIP TO REGISTERING FROM THE WEBSITE: You can now register for a specific class directly from the website. When you click REGISTER or WAITLIST it will auto populate the class for you. NO NEED TO SEARCH! We recommend selecting the number one priority when registration opens and then go from there. ADULTS, select your classes last if you are registering your child(ren).
    • We recommend getting on ALL WAITLISTS of classes you are interested in. If classes fill up and we have room in our schedule, those families on the waitlists will be contacted first if we add classes to the existing schedule. 
    • Please note - Until restrictions change, WE DO NOT HAVE FLEXIBILITY WITH INDOOR NUMBERS! We've been lucky being able to fill our OUTDOOR classes with more than we would have INDOORS. We want as many people dancing as possible.
    • Joy in Motion offers 10% Tuition Discounts for Seniors 60+ and Families with a Veteran, Active or Reserve Military Duty, or First Responder in the Household. Be sure to add this to your registration if you would like to receive the discount.

    Payment Policy: We require each family to provide a current VISA or DISCOVER or MASTERCARD, which will be charged after enrollment. Payment does NOT go through automatically. Families have to option to go in an pay in the portal after fees have been posted or we will run the charges within three days after the registration. All you have to do is make sure the credit card on your account has not expired. You may pay by check or cash, if you note that in the comment section or email us. In the event a credit card cannot be processed and a payment is more than 30 days overdue, your account will be charged an additional $35 late fee. Any student whose tuition is in arrears 30 days without any account payments may be asked to stay home.

    Privacy Policy: Joy in Motion is committed to online security. Your payment and personal information will not be shared with anyone. Credit card numbers are not stored in our system, but rather processed through PCI compliant SafeSave Payments. We at Joy in Motion cannot see your full credit card number.

    Cancellation by Joy in Motion: Joy in Motion reserves the right to cancel and/or replace any class due to low enrollment. Cancelled classes will be fully refunded. 

    Rainy Days: If it happens to be raining, the parking lot class will move to ZOOM at the director's discretion. Participants will be notified by email at least 1 hour prior to the class start if we are moving to ZOOM.

    Air Quality Index notice: If the local AQI is at or approaching the Red Zone (150), the parking lot class will move to ZOOM at the director's discretion. Participants will be notified by email at least 1 hour prior to the class start if we are moving to ZOOM.
     
     
    Arrival & Pick-up: 
    • The larger back parking lot is blocked for dancing and not available for parking.
    • To park, use the front lot by entering on the Country Club Drive/SiSi's side or park on the street. 
    • Do not drop off or pick up on the street without safely parking, please. 
    • DO NOT PARK IN THE MOTESSORI SCHOOL'S LOT AT ANY TIME.  
    • We did our best to stagger arrival and pick-up times for classes - it isn't perfect. Please be mindful that at some times of the day, it may be busier than normal. Be careful and patient when dropping off and picking up. 
     
    WHO IS ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO?
    • NO OBSERVERS OR FAMILY MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED INDOORS.
    • Dancers enrolled in INDOOR CLASSES are allowed in the building no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start time. We did our best to make the time between back-to-back classes, 15 minutes only. Please find an alternative to congregating in the studio if your dancer has a break longer than 15 minutes. Due to current restrictions, it will NOT be allowed. 
    • Only Parents of Li'l Funky Freedom, Li'l Dreamers Ballet, or the 4.5-5 year old Ballet & Tap Combo Class are allowed in the building to help facilitate bathroom breaks or shoe changes. Please be sure to maintain proper social distance and remain in our Lobby or Lounge.
     
    HOW WILL CAMPS WORK? 
    • For 3 hour camps, campers will be split into 3 groups and each will have an instructor. Dancers will rotate through stations throughout the day INDOORS and OUTDOORS with regular sanitation between rotations. ALL Campers will meet together in the Parking Lot for some activities. 
    • For 2 hour camps, campers will be split into 2 groups and each will have an instructor. Dancers will rotate through stations throughout the day INDOORS and OUTDOORS with regular sanitation between rotations. ALL Campers will meet together in the Parking Lot for some activities.
