We would like to thank you for standing behind Joy in Motion over the years and are extremely grateful to be part of a community that values what we represent. The celebration of the 5th year anniversary of being in our home was a success!
One week ago today, we transformed our space into an incredible party pad. Our studios became a banquet room, a silent auction room, and what is a party without a glow in the dark dance room? It didn’t end there. Our loading dock provided more space to mingle with our parking lot housing a bar, outdoor games, and extra loos.
Huge shout-outs go to Tenaya Garrett for her help with our silent auction, the talents of Marina Kimbro for her top notch catering skills, and Eric Gonzalez for rolling up in the most amazing traveling bar and being one of our favorite mixologists.
With the support of community and family donors along with our wonderful sponsors, Julie Del Santo of Dudum Real Estate and Orinda Optometry Group, we raised over $17,000.
Thank you to everyone who showed up and supported us before, during, and after the event. Many of you, who weren’t able to attend, still graciously donated and we greatly appreciate you. Our goal was to raise $26,000 because it was fun adding up 5+6+7+8 instead of yelling it out to our dancers.
Remember, Joy in Motion is a registered 501c3 nonprofit and all donations are 100% tax deductible. It’s not too late to help us reach that goal!
