Joy in Motion is a non-profit dance organization expanding access to the art form of dance through education and entertainment. We encourage everyone to fuse dance into their lives, modeling dance as a celebration of life that can be shared by all.
Joy in Motion (JiM) provides dance classes for children, teens, adults and seniors in contemporary, tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, creative movement and theatrical dance styles. JiM also provides exercise classes to adults in Pilates, Twerk n' Tone, and Cardio Jam. JiM serves the Lamorinda communities of Moraga, Lafayette, and Orinda and the surrounding cities of Concord, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek Oakland, Berkeley, Piedmont, El Sobrante, and Pinole.
