LIONESS HUNT - (basic choreo)

Stage Crew will learn about being part of a technical crew with focus on sets, props, costumes, lighting, and sound. They will be utilized where it makes the most sense for the production and will attend the last three rehearsals (3/1, 3/8, 3/15) and one technical rehearsal each (3/22 & 3/23) tech week depending on which Cast they are assigned to. Hey Bandits! Joy in Motion is thrilled to be collaborating with the Wagner Ranch Parents' Club to help produce, direct, and choreograph the after-school 4th & 5th Grade Musical for the 2022 - 2023 school year.

Our goal is to provide and build community, confidence, creativity, empowerment, passion and share our joy of theater, dance, and performance. We will create a "safe-space” for rehearsals where students are free to explore the arts in an environment free from judgement. We will set and uphold expectations for students' commitment to the production as well as theirs. The end result will be a wonderful show.

BOTH Casts Audition & Rehearse:
Wednesdays, October 5, 12, 19, 26 from 1:15 - 3:30pm
*Initial auditions will be held on October 5th and we will continue with Callbacks and full group work on the 12th. We hope to have the casting finalized by October 19th and will continue to work as ONE LARGE GROUP through the end of October.

Starting November 2, 2022 rehearsal times change to each Wednesday through March 15, 2023:
Hakuna Cast from 1:15 - 2:45pm
Matata Cast from 3:00 - 4:30pm
*No Rehearsals 11/23/22 (Thanksgiving) or 12/21/22 & 12/28/22 (Winter Break).

*Rehearsals will be held in the Multipurpose Room at Wagner Ranch

CONFERENCE DAY:
Rehearse both casts together Thursday, March 9 from 12:30 - 3:30pm (no Crew)

DRESS REHEARSALS:

Hakuna Cast & Crew: Wednesday March 22 from 1:15 - 5:00pm

Matata Cast & Crew: Thursday, March 23 from 3:00 - 6:45pm

PERFORMANCES:

Friday, March 24

Matata Cast & Crew show at 4:15pm

Hakuna Cast & Crew show at 7:30pm

Saturday, March 25

Hakuna Cast & Crew show at 2:00pm

Matata Cast & Crew show at 5:30pm

*The cast will be called 45-60 minutes before show time. A few characters may need to be even a little earlier. More information to follow.

The Wagner Ranch Parents Club needs volunteers! While we are working on the show, madly singing and dancing with your children, the WRPC is getting ready to work on other parts of the production. It takes quite a team to put on the musical and we need your help!
